Like in cricket, players play using the cricket bat, in hockey the hockey stick is the main tool used to control the movement of the puck and it is the one that is used to pull the puck out of the stick from the opponent. This hockey stick has a long handle so it can reach the ground and U shaped base which helps keep the puck within its arms and swing around as and when the player desires. Hockey is a sport played either on a field or on the ice, when it is played on the floor, it is with the help of a hockey bat whereas on ice it is the stick. Each player is expected to be in control of their stick and tackle the puck maneuvering their way around the arena and around the opposing teams players.
